It took and overtime period and a shootout, but the Binghamton Senators were able to pick up a quick 6 points this weekend, winning all three of their games.

On Friday night, the Sens traveled to Rochester to take on the Americans and were able to overcome deficit and take the game in overtime when Cody Ceci scored his second game winning goal of the season just 1:36 in.

Andrew Hammond, who continues to improve, picked up his second win of the year.  Mike Hoffman scored twice in the 3-2 victory for Binghamton.

On Saturday, the Amerks invaded the Broome County Arena seeking revenge in the second game of the home-and-home series.

Binghamton dominated the contest from the opening faceoff.  The B-Sens were led by Stephane Da Costa who had two goals and three assists on the night.  Binghamton's powerplay went 4-6 and Nathan Lawson stopped 31 of 34 Rochester shots in his first game back with Binghamton.  The B-Sens handed Rochester a convincing 7-3 loss.

Then on Sunday, the B-Sens traveled to Hershey to wrap up the weekend.  Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored twice and assisted on another and Andrew Hammond saved 41 of the 45 shots he faced for his third victory on the year.

Binghamton held a 4-2 lead early in the third but gave up that lead before the final horn sounded.  After an uneventful overtime period, Stephane Da Costa and Matt Puempel scored to seal the victory.

The Binghamton Senators are now 9-4-0-0 on the year and are in second place, just one point behind the Syracuse Crunch in the East Division.  The Baby Sens are next in action on Friday night against the Adirondack Phantoms and Saturday night against the Rochester Americans.  Both games are at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.
