The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is back in action tonight at the Events Center when they host Misericordia at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  The Bearcats are 4-8 this season while the Cougars are 3-9.  Tonight is the first ever meeting between the two schools.

Binghamton's last outing was at Cornell where the Big Red posted a 64-57 victory.  The Cougar's last contest was a loss at Geneseo 63-57.

Binghamton is led in scoring by Alyssa James who is averaging 17.4 points per game which is good for third place in America East.  She is third in rebounding in America East averaging 8.4 per contest and James leads the conference in blocks with 2.7 per game.

Next on the Bearcats' schedule is Stony Brook.  The Bearcats travel to Stony Brook to play  the Seawolves on Wednesday in a special 12 Noon start.  That game can be heard on ESPN 1360 AM.
