Marlon Beck had 27 points and Jordan Reed cashed in 25 as the Binghamton Bearcats defeated the Big Red of Cornell 89-79 on Wednesday night.

Nick Madray also had 23 points and was 6 of 9 from beyond the arc.

The Bearcats trailed for the majority of the game and took the lead with less than two minutes left on a steal and layup from Beck.  Cornell was unable to regain the lead and the Bearcats sealed the 10 point victory.

Cornell led by as many as 13 points and shot 58 percent in the first half.  Binghamton was able to keep Cornell in foul trouble and capitalized on their free-throw opportunities.

The victory is the Bearcats' first in 14 games dating back to the 2012-2013 campaign.  Cornell has now dropped eight straight.

The Bearcats are back in action on Saturday when they host Navy at the Event's Center.
