In a matchup between BU (Binghamton University) and BU (Boston University), the Bearcats were treated to a rather lopsided loss.  The Boston University Terriers handed the Bearcats their 21st loss of the season in this America East showdown.

Binghamton started quickly, getting out to a 6-4 lead.  This was, unfortunately, the Bearcats largest lead of the game.  The Terriers relied heavily on the 3-ball in this contest.  For the game, Boston put in 12 of their 31 shots from downtown.  They were led by sharpshooter DJ Irving, who finished with a game high 27 points.  Binghamton's defense looked lethargic, allowing shot after uncontested shot.

The one bright spot for the Bearcats was their precision from the foul line.  They shot 22-24 from the charity stripe for a season high 91.7%.

Binghamton's leading scorer was stellar Freshman Jordan Reed.  Reed accounted for 17 points and 11 rebounds.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back in their next game taking on the Stony Brook Seawolves Tuesday night.  With only 5 games remaining on Binghamton's schedule, the chance for a turnaround this season is out of the question.  With the final five all being conference games, the Bearcats will look to build momentum for next season.
