Andray Blatche had 24 points and led his Brooklyn Nets to a 102-100 defeat of the Toronto Raptors to end their five-game losing streak on Tuesday.

Joe Johnson added 21 for the Nets while Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett contributed 16 and 12 points respectively.  Brooklyn was without Deron Williams and Brook Lopez due to ankle injuries for both.

Toronto was led by DeMar DrRozan with 27 points and Kyle Lowry had 21.  The Raptors had the chance to go ahead on the final possession of the game, Amir Johnson missed a three-pointer and the resulting tip in try was also missed as the horn sounded.

Brooklyn improves to 4-10 on the year and climb ahead of the New York Knicks who sit in last place.  The Nets face the L.A. Lakers at home on Wednesday night.
