The Binghamton Bearcats and Hartford Hawks meet in an America East men's basketball game at Chase Arena in West Hartford tonight at 7:00 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF). Both teams are struggling to put games in the win column. Binghamton is 2-9 in conference games while the Hawks are 2-8.  The Bearcats have dropped their last four while the Hawks are winless in their last five outings.

In the overall series between the two teams Hartford has a wide 20-11 advantage and the Hawks have won the past ten meetings.  In this season's first match-up Hartford defeated the Bearcats 76-72 at the Events Center.

BU will have their hands full trying to contain one of America East's most prolific scorers, Pancake Thomas.  He is averaging 18.2 points per game. Pancake is also a top free-throw shooter connecting on 80 percent of his opportunities at the line.

The Bearcats hope to get another solid effort from Dusan Perovic.  Perovic led all scorers with 24 points in Binghamton's loss to Albany on Monday night.  He went 4-5 from three-point range as well.  It is his best output since the knee injury that ended his season last year.
