The regular season is down to two games for the Binghamton Uhniversity women's basketball team. The Bearcats host Stony Brook Thursday at 7 PM and travel to UMBC to face the Retrievers on Sunday at 1:00 PM.  Following those games Binghamton will have a few days off to prepare for the America East Post-Season Tournament on March 7 and 8. Heading into Thursday night's home game against Stony Brook the Bearcats are 2-12 in America East with both wins coming at home.  The Seawolves are 9-5 and in third place in America East.  Stony Brook is 9-5 and in third place in the conference.  In a previous meeting on Long Island last month Stony Brook topped the Bearcats 67-54.

When the Bearcats played host to the Retrievers earlier this season UMBC won 71-55.  UMBC is in seventh place in America East with a record of 5-9. If the playoffs began today UMBC would face Stony Brook in the first round. and the Bearcats would meet Albany or Maine. Both remaining regular season games will be aired on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Tim Heiman.  Airtime Thursday is 6:45 and air on Sunday is at 12:45 following the Barb Mack Show.
