The Chenango Forks Blue Devils and the Maine-Endwell Spartans are looking to capture New York State Championships tomorrow in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.  Chenango Forks meets Rye Neck in the Class C final at Noon while the Spartans will follow at 3 PM as they face Schalmont High for the Class B title.

Both football teams have had outstanding seasons to get to the championship round and both have storied pasts. Coming into tomorrow's action The Forks has lost just once this Tioga, a Class D powerhouse who made it to last weekend's state semi-final round.  The score in that game was 7-0.  M-E has now won 37 straight games and is looking to win its third consecutive state crown.  The Spartans captured the Class A title three seasons ago and the Class B championship last year.

Both schools have had their share of success in the Dome. Chenango Forks won back to back tiles in 2003 and 2004 while M-E won its first of three state championships in Syracuse in 2003.
