Giants Playoff Hopes Dashed With Second Loss To Dallas
Dan Bailey's 35-yard field goal on the last play of the game secured the 24-21 for the Dallas Cowboys over the New York Giants, all but dashing the playoff hope for Big Blue.
Tony Romo threw two touchdowns and was instrumental in the game winning score when he converted on two third downs in the final drive. Both of Romo's TD passes found Jason Witten.
The Giants had tied the game when Eli Manning found Louis Murphy for a 4-yard touchdown pass and the ensuing two-point conversion.
The Giants lost both meeting with the Cowboys this season, two losses that will loom large if the Giants do not make the playoffs. New York had won four in a row to keep their season alive but have now fallen to 4-7 and are in third place in the NFC East with 4 games left.
The Giants will play in Washington on Sunday against the Redskins.
