After starting with so much hope this season, the New York Football Giants find themselves at 0-3 and in trouble after a downright thrashing by the Carolina Panthers (1-2) on Sunday.

The 38-0 loss is the worst defeat dealt to them in the Tom Coughlin era and one of the poorest showings by Big Blue in their history.

Giants QB Eli Manning was sacked 7 times and picked off once.  He was 12 for 23 in pass completions.

The Giants offense only managed to rush for 60 yards and only picked up 10 first downs on 150 total yards.

Defensively, the anemic Giants defense allowed 402 total yards to the Panthers, who like the Giants, had been reeling to start the season.

The Giants travel to Kansas City to take on the undefeated Chiefs at 1 on Sunday.
