After Bad Foul, Knicks Fall To Pacers In Overtime
The New York Knicks couldn't hold on to their three point lead with under 10 seconds to play and ended up losing to the Indiana Pacers 103-96 in Overtime on Wednesday night.
With 5.2 seconds to play, Iman Shumpert fouled Paul George who was attempting a three-point shot. George sank all three free throws to knot the game at 89. A last second shot by Carmelo Anthony to win the game did not fall.
In overtime, George scored nine points to finish with a season-high 35 points. George Hill added 23 points and eight boards.
Anthony had 30 points on the night and was visibly dejected after the buzzer sounded ending regulation. The Knicks have now lost six straight at home.
Now 3-8 on the year, New York looks to bounce back against the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
