Lucic, Krug Lead Bruins Over Sabres
Milan Lucic and Torey Krug both scored twice and led the Boston Bruins to a 5-2 defeat of the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday night.
The Bruins are perfect in road games this season, while the Sabres continue to struggle.
Dougie Hamilton was the other goal scorer for Boston, while Nikita Zadorov and Cody Hodgson scored for Buffalo.
In a late game incident, Buffalo's John Scott hit Loui Eriksson up high forcing the Bruin's left winger to have to be helped off of the ice. Scott was given a five-minute penalty for charging. Eriksson did not return to the ice.
The Sabres are now 1-9-1 on the season and travel to Florida to take on the Panthers on Friday night.
