LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews scored 27 and 24 respectively as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Brooklyn Nets 108-98.  It was the seventh straight victory for Portland.

The Nets started strong hitting six of seven shots from behind the arc and held a nine point lead after the first quarter.  Brooklyn held a seven point advantage at the half.  Portland came out with guns blazing in the third and used their three-point game to lead Brooklyn in the dust.

Shaun Livingston led the Nets with 23.  Kevin Garnett, who sunk his first six shots, cooled off late and finished with a season high 16.

The Nets fell to 3-7 on the year following the game where they were booed off their own court.  They are in Charlotte on Wednesday night to take on the Bobcats.
