The Syracuse Orange found themselves down five with about ten minutes to play but were able to rally back and put away a pesky Boston College team 69-59 on Monday night.

Riding stellar three-point shooting from the Eagle's Lonnie Jackson, who scored 18 points, Boston College was able to hang around No. 2 ranked Syracuse the entire game, and only trailed by two at the half.  After taking the lead in the second half, however, Syracuse began to pull away, thanks to a 16-1 run and offensive rebounding.

"We've been down in the second half a couple of times this year," Orange head coach Jim Boeheim said. "When we're in that situation guys make plays. Tonight it was Trevor."

Jerami Grant added 16 points and C.J. Fair and Tyler Ennis each contributed 12 for the now 17-0 Orange.  It is their second time in three seasons starting the year 17-0.

The Orange will host No. 22 Pittsburgh on Saturday.
