Cam Talbot did not have to work too hard to earn his second straight shutout, but shutout the Nashville Predators he did in the New York Rangers 2-0 victory on Saturday night.

Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan were the goal scores for New York with Mats Zuccarello picking up assists on both.  The Rangers have now won six straight games on the road and the first two of their current five-game road trip.

Talbot, backup to Henrik Lundqvist, is now 5-1 on the year with an anemic 1.32 goals against average.  He hasn't allowed a goal in 146 minutes and 28 seconds of action.

"I could get used to this, for sure," Talbot said. "The guys have played unbelievably in front of me the past two games."

The 12-11-0 New York Rangers are in Tampa Bay to take on the Lightning on Monday night.
