The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign Needs Your Help, Binghamton
The holiday season has a way of bringing out the very best in people. Maybe it’s the gift giving that gets people in the mood to do more for others. Or maybe it’s the notion that another year is coming to an end, so why not squeeze in as much good karma as you can.
Heck, maybe it’s even a final attempt to make the nice list – just in case. Whatever the reason, it certainly goes a long way – especially during the holidays!
Do you feel like doing a little something extra for someone else this holiday season? Do you have some free time to spend helping out a local non-profit organization? Perfect! There are many local organizations that could use a few extra hands these next few weeks and what better way to spend your time than volunteering?
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign – the bell ringing outside supermarkets and stores -- is something everyone is familiar with around the holiday season and they need our help!
This year, the Salvation Army is running lower than usual on volunteers and they are looking for enthusiastic people to begin helping out today! Bell ringers are happy and cheerful people who truly embed the meaning of Christmas. It’s easy to do and really brings out the Christmas spirit in yourself and those around you!
