The Knicks meet the Washington Wizards at 7 P.M. tonight with a franchise record on the line. Center Tyson Chandler has the opportunity to pass legend Willis Reed in the rebounding category if he grabs more than 20 boards tonight.

Chandler's surpassed 20 rebounds in each of his last three games and can cement his place as one of New York's greats if he manages to do it tonight.

According to the Knick's official site:

“I’m going to chase every rebound regardless of whether I get it or not,”

Chandler said after Monday’s game.

“I’m really going after the ball every single time. I’m not taking a possession off.”

Chandler's been an incredibly important part of the Knick's success this year and he's played in every game this year on an injury-prone Knicks team. A model of tenacity and consistency, his rabid rebounding and defensive stoutness makes him a Knick's mainstay.
