Behind two stellar performances in net by Andrew Hammond and one offensive explosion, the Binghamton Senators were able to leap-frog the Norfolk Admirals and regain first place in the Eastern Division.

The B-Sens won all three of their weekend contests, taking care of the Norfolk Admirals 3-1 on Friday, slipping past the Rochester Americans 2-1 on Saturday, and throttling the Rochester Americans 7-3 on Sunday.

Hammond started in net in all three games, only allowing five goals in the three contests.  He only gave up one goal a piece in Friday and Saturday's games.

Binghamton wore it's St. Patrick's day jerseys on Saturday night in front of a packed Broome County Arena.

On Sunday, the Sens came from behind and scored five third period goals for their third straight victory and placing them back atop the standings.

Binghamton has another busy week ahead as they will play three on the road.  Wednesday, the B-Sens will be in Albany before heading out to Norfolk for back-to-back contests with the Admirals on Friday and Saturday.
