Things are quite busy down at One Bills Drive these days, as the Buffalo Bills prepare for their second preseason game against the Denver Broncos at Highmark Stadium.

The Bills will have to cut the roster from 84 players to 80 players this Tuesday, with the roster being cut down to 53 players on August 30th.

The Bills have a few position battles left to be decided upon, such as starting right tackle and the second cornerback position.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said this week that Dane Jackson is currently ahead of rookies Kaiir Elam and Christian Benford on the depth chart.

Tre'Davious White will be the number one CB when he returns from his ACL recovery and Taron Johnson is solidified as the nickel CB.

Another CB looking to impress in the second preseason game is fourth-year pro, Cam Lewis.

Lewis was an undrafted free agent out of UB in 2019 and has spent time on both the practice squad and active roster with the Bills. He's been an underdog story since entering the NFL and has done a tremendous job impressing the coaches.

Lewis met with the media and was asked why he was wearing a brace on his right forearm.

The reason, as Lewis explains was he broke his forearm in his junior season at UB. That broken bone turned into a bone infection and it's been something he has been dealing with ever since.

Lewis said it is something he's been able to play through.

That would have been the 2017 season, as Lewis, missed five games for UB that year.

To not only play, but to make the NFL as an undrafted free agent while dealing with a bone infection (which sounds scary) is absolutely incredible.

Lewis kind of downplayed it with the media today and that says a lot about his character. Many fans and reporters didn't even realize this fact about him but he didn't make it a big deal and has stuck around in the NFL anyway.
