Binghamton Bulldogs Playoff Game Comes Down To Final Seconds
There many things that we love about our Binghamton Bulldogs. They are a fantastic team and they NEVER give up. Take Saturday night's ABA Regional Championship game against the #6 ranked Steel City Yellow Jackets.
Binghamton Bulldogs Playoff Run Comes To An End
The Binghamton Bulldogs were down by 20 at halftime to the Yellow Jackets. Ben Walters 3 point barrage in the fourth quarter gave the Bulldogs a fighting chance as the game was winding down. They came all the back from a 22 point deficit and had several chances to tie the game with under 10 seconds to go but couldn't get their shots to drop in the final seconds.
There was no quit in the team as their playoff run came to an end by a 134-130 score. It was a tough loss to a very good team on their home court. The Bulldogs can keep their heads high with the effort they showed. So what's next for the Binghamton Bulldogs?
What's Next For The Binghamton Bulldogs
As odd as it may sound, they will continue their regular season in April. Earlier this month, the ABA suddenly paused the regular season because of Covid issues. The Dog Pound will be rocking in late April and when we find out more, we'll pass it along.
That's not all that's new with the Bulldogs. If you missed it, Binghamton announced that they will have a new home beginning this summer. The Bulldogs Sports Complex (BSC) will be located at 1025 Robinson Hill in Johnson City.
This will make them the first ABA basketball team in history to have their own branded facility. The playoffs may not have ended the way they wanted but there is still a lot to be excited about with the Binghamton Bulldogs.
