In a statement, B.C.C. officials said the Town of Dickinson college will remain open while providing alternative instruction methods to limit student numbers on campus.

Student Village, residence hall, the dining and facilities buildings will all remain open.

Campus events will be limited to gatherings of up to 100 internal, or 50 if outside guests are involved.

A decision on the SUNY Broome commencement ceremony is to be made by May 1.

Similar announcements were made March 11 by other schools in the SUNY system including Corning Community College, Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Cortland.
