The men's basketball team came through in the clutch last game as they overcame a 12 point deficit to win against NJIT. Binghamton returned home to the Events Center on November 23, looking to get the victory over Army.

Army came out shooting 44 percent from the field. This came from Lonnie Grayson contributing eight points and Matt Wilson adding eight of his own to go with four rebounds. Tucker Blackwell tallied five and a few other Black Knights chipped in as well to put up 31 total points in the first half.

Binghamton also managed to shoot 44 percent in the first half. Dan Petcash had 11 points, Brenton Mills had nine and Pierre Sarr had seven with six boards. The combined group effort gave the Bearcats the 42-31 lead going into halftime.

The Black Knights performed well in the second half as Matt Wilson flirted with a double-double, finishing with 22 points and nine rebounds. Tommy Funk scored 20 and dished out six dimes with Lonnie Grayson ending with 11. In the end, they put up 73 points.

Binghamton had the lead coming out of the break and never lost hold of it. An all-around team effort as five Bearcats scored in double-digits. Sam Sessoms had 16 as did Pierre Sarr. Sarr also crashed the glass to corral 13 rebounds. Brenton Mills put up 15, Yarden Willis had 14 and Dan Petcash tallied 13 off the bench. Ultimately, it was another Bearcats victory as they win by a final score of 88-73. The team will ride a three-game win streak into their next matchup on Tuesday, November 26 as they will host Oneonta.
