The Hemp Industrial Park on Camp Drive is taking over the site of the former Shop Vac facility and will process hemp into cannabidiol that is used in CBD ointments, oils and consumables marketed as health supplements.

Production is expected to get underway in the fall following the harvest of recently cultivated hemp plants.
