Henrik Lundqvist made 35 saves on Tuesday night to pick up his 302nd career victory, a franchise best for the New York Rangers.  New York doubled up the Ottawa Senators 8-4.

Lundqvist now has one more victory than Mike Richter, who played 14 season with the Rangers.  Lundqvist is in his 9th season with the Blueshirts.

It’s an incredible feeling," said Lundqvist, "A proud feeling. Being up there with those guys that have played for the organization for a lot of years and the franchise has been around for so long, it’s kind of surreal. I want to keep going obviously and hopefully I have a lot of years left to keep winning."

The 32-year-old Swede recently signed a seven-year $59.5 million contract to stay with the only team he's played for.  Lundqvist has made it clear that he never wants to play for any other team in the NHL.

The New York Rangers currently sit third in the Metropolitan Division and as of right now in a playoff spot.
