Man on Possession Charge Lights Joint in Courtroom
In a Lebanon Tennessee courthouse on Monday, a man named Spencer Allen Boston appeared in court to answer to charges of marijuana possession. He was in possession of marijuana alright, and proved it to everyone in the courtroom including the judge.
News Channel 5 reported that as Boston approached the bench to talk about his sentence, he reached in his front pocket, pulled out a joint, and lit it in the courtroom.
Wilson County Sheriff Robert Ryan told News Channel 5, [it was] “one of the craziest things I've ever seen”.
While Court officers quickly grabbed Boston and started leading him out of the courtroom with a cloud of smoke behind him, he began saying marijuana should be legalized in Tennessee.
