Search of Cortland Home Nets Cocaine and Felony Arrest
A Cortland County man is facing a felony charge after authorities searched his home November 14 as part of an on-going drug investigation.
53-year old Thomas Martinez of Cortland is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Sheriff’s officials and members of the Cortland County Drug Task Force say they confiscated 12 grams of crack cocaine and 2 grams of marijuana at Martinez’s Bartlett Avenue home.
The Cortland City Police and Village of Homer Police were also involved in the investigation.
In addition to felony drug possession, Martinez is charged with misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia and a violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
