When sports fans of the Capital Region "pack the house" in December, The Times Union Center will house a sea of maroon, white and gray as far as the eye can see.

The Albany FireWolves lacrosse club celebrated a special occasion yesterday at the TU, as the team unveiled their home and away jerseys ahead of their inaugural season in the National Lacrosse League. Team President George Manias served as the master of ceremonies as the jerseys were shown to the public for the first time, marking an important milestone as the franchise nears its first regular season game in December.

The team also unveiled the jerseys on social media with this exciting sizzle reel:

The jersey reveal is part of a busy seven days for the franchise, as the Albany FireWolves Foundation's Golf Outing is right around the corner, as well. The event will take place this coming Monday, September 27th, at Normanside Country Club in Delmar. As George Manias told The Drive this afternoon, a limited amount of spots are still available if you'd like to play. Click here for more information.

Meanwhile, the season is just a few months away, as the team opens up in Toronto on December 4th. The home opener will happen two weekends later, as the FireWolves will don their home maroon jerseys for the first time at The Times Union Center.
